Become A Volunteer

Becoming a volunteer at Playability is flexible, fun and fulfilling. All we ask is that you attend when you say you will and you enjoy your time with us!

You can bring your skills from your job or study, or you might want to volunteer to do something completely different than what you are used to.

Most of our play staff joined us as a volunteer with many going on to university and full time jobs while still supporting us.

We are happy to provide references for university, Duke of Edinburgh Award or jobs.

You are in control of your volunteering.

What's in it for me?

A rewarding opportunity, that can give you practical and relevant experience. Volunteering is really about what you can give to others and the satisfaction in knowing that you have made a difference by being a positive role model to the young people and their families.

We can provide references to support your applications for work or study.

What do I need?

You will need a willingness to try, participate to the best of your ability and to turn up when you say you will. You will need to be DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checked for working with vulnerable young people, which we will organise.
